April 21, 2023, also known as the shielder rework update, is a major update in Bedwars that modified the Infernal Shielder kit, changed combat, removed the Easter Egg Hunt event, and much more.

Modifications[]
- Added an early game "Tax" system to Ranked and regular 5v5.
- Reworked Infernal Shielder and the infernal shield.
The infernal shield now auto-holds.- The infernal shield now applies 50% damage reduction when held.
- Infernal Shielder now has 10% damage reduction.
Added a Dragon Leap ability.
- Modified the PvP system.
- Players can now receive extra resources scaling upon enemies with higher tier Armor and time alive.
- Concluded the Easter Egg Hunt 2023 event.
- Buffed and nerfed several items.
- Slightly increased drone movespeed.
- Increased fishing rod emerald and diamond gain from their respective fishes.
- Increased fishing rod resource gain after the 8 minute mark.
- Drill damage now scales up by 10 HP every 5 minutes until the 10 minute mark.
- Decreased Grim Reaper soul orb heal from 26 HP to 20 HP.
- Increased knockback charm knockback from 30% to 50%.
- Knockback from any damage source without intentional knockback will no longer be affected the knockback charm.
- Fixed several ability buttons not being displayed.
