April 28, 2023, also known as the Lyla update, is a major update in BedWars that added the Lyla kit, reworked Break Speed into Destruction, balanced 5v5, reworked Iron ore nodes, and more.

Modifications[]
Reduced the amount of ore nodes at the beginning of matches to 2.- Buffed and Nerfed several kits, items and mechanics alike:
Decreased the frosty hammer's base swing cooldown from 0.35 seconds to 0.3 seconds.- Decreased the frosty hammer's swing cooldown on attack speed tier 1 from 0.3 seconds to 0.27 seconds.
Increased beehive grenade bee armor penetration from 20% to 25%.- Whim's elemental spells will now only spawn near the middle of the map.
- Decreased mage spellbook elemental spell spawn interval from 5 minutes to 3 minutes.
- Increased mage spellbook elemental spell orb speed from 80% to 100%.
- Increased Merchant Marco's discounted item amount from 7 to 8.
- Increased Merchant Marco silver coin discount percentage from 15% to 20%.
- Increased Vanessa's crossbow triple shot charge time from 1.3 seconds to 1.6 seconds.
- Increased Vanessa's normal bow triple shot charge time from 0.8 seconds to 1 second.
- Iron armor’s damage reduction decreased from 60% to 48%.
- Reduced the amount of resources given from bounty payouts.
- Decreased the knockback charm's vertical knockback multiplier from 50% to 30%.
- Removed the Mining team upgrade.
- Removed the Break Speed team upgrade.
