August 16, 2024, also known as the Season 11 update, is a major update in BedWars that added the Season 11 Battle Pass, discontinued Battle Pass kits, added BedCoins, changed major core game mechanics, and much more.

Additions[]

Added new kits associated with Season 11.
- Added the Death Adder.
- Added Nazar.
- Added Kaida.
- Added Silas.
- Added Wren.
Added the Season 11 Battle Pass.
- Added new cosmetics and rewards associated with the season.
  - Added the Frost Adder kit skin.
  - Added the Divine Triumph win effect.
  - Added 3 final kill effects.
  - Added 3 bed break effects.
  - Added 6 lobby gadgets.
  - Added 4 animated emotes.
  - Added 14 titles.
  - Added 32 image emotes.
Added BedCoins.
- Players can earn up to 100 BedCoins per match, and can get only 1000 BedCoins per day via this method.
- Battle Pass rewards and lucky crates will also give BedCoins.

Modifications[]

General[]

Swords now downgrade once upon death instead of being dropped.
Added a global display for bed plating and bed health.
Team generators now display timers for resources dropped.
Added a new model, visual effect, and sound effects for bed plating.
Removed bed plating from Solos, Duos, Winstreak, and Duels.
Bed plating now takes 20 points of block damage to destroy, and grants 8 Diamonds when destroyed instead of hyperizing the team generator.
Removed the blessing altar.
The enchant table is now unlocked at the beginning of the match.
Increased basic enchanting requirements from 50 Iron to 80 Iron.
The tablist now shows player stats and team level.
Replaced Kit class rental tickets with BedCoins when obtained via lucky crates.
Removed kit rental tickets from the Clan shop.

Kits[]

Every single kit that isn't a previous Season kit can now be purchased for 10000 BedCoins.
- Newer kits will cost 12000 BedCoins.
Kits will no longer be rewards in the Battle Pass.

Team Upgrades[]

Revamped Team Upgrades.
- Players now earn Stat Points, which are given to all teammates when their Team's Level is upgraded with Diamonds to the next level. Players can use stat points to upgrade their Damage, Armor, Speed, or Destruction attributes up to three times. Players can only earn 5 stat boosts, making them choose wisely on how they will play the game.
- Each Team Level increases the team generator speed by 15%.
Removed eras.
All items are no longer locked behind upgrades.

Match Mechanics[]

The Headstart mechanic now grants 100 Iron and Team Level 2 instead of the Iron Era.
Removed the Dragon Egg, Swift Finale, Aerial Warfare, Void Portals, Knight's Code, Grappling Hooks & Stopwatches, Delicious Diamonds, Capture Points, and Simplified map mechanics.
Re-added the Snow Cone Machine and Monarch map mechanics.

Post-Update[]

- Hours later, a post-update patch was sent out, fixing bugs.

Fixed players being stuck using Hephaestus and unable to access kit shop with him or the kit skin equipped.
Fixed bow hitboxes being inaccurate.
Fixed player accessories not cleaning up.
Fixed bed coins showing up in inventory before being revealed on crate open
Season 10 kits are ordered after Season 9 kits instead of incorrectly being ordered between the Season 1 and 2 kits.
Fixed the Head Start map mechanic not giving out 100 Iron.
Fixed many issues regarding Nazar.
Your username is no longer revealed in the upgrade shop when streamer mode is enabled.

August 20, 2024[]

- Later this week, a hotfix was sent out.

Readded bed platings in Solos and Duos to prevent excessive BedCoins farming.
Decreased the diamonds rewarded for breaking a bed plating from 8 Diamonds to 3 Diamonds.
Fixed sword upgrades in Arena Duels.
Fixed issues from daos.
Patched an exploit where Kaida's ‘Summon’ ability range could be expanded farther than intended.
Fixed Kaida still having lower tier claws from the player’s inventory.
Fixed an issue where you could never respawn if you were killed by a player who was either using the Death Adder or Kaida.
Fixed the Death Adder's progress bar being duplicated if her comet ability was spammed.
Fixed the upgrade and item shop screen being stuck on screen if you opened that and your inventory at the same time.
Fixed upgrade shop not showing the correct number of stat points.
Fixed an issue where the tree orbs for the Eldertree were spawning way too many times.
Fixed an oversight where kits that cost 399 Robux had the gift amount of 479 Robux .
Added in missing map icons for the Castle Grounds and Crystalmount maps.
Added a spell cancel button for the Death Adder.
Removed gold lucky crates from the clan shop due to a duplication exploit at the time.
