December 9, 2022, also known as the cosmic lucky block update, is a major update in BedWars that added the cosmic lucky block, cosmic items, and changes to some kits and items.

Increased gravitational pull.- Blackholes now suck up blocks.
- Blackholes now deal 1 damage per second while in one.
Blackholes now explode and deal 40 - 90 damage to all players after its duration has gone up.
- Changed emerald generator emerald spawn time from 55 seconds to 45 seconds.
- Increased Tier 3 Generator price from 12 Diamonds to 14 Diamonds.
- Emeralds now spawn 25% slower on Tier 3 generators.

- Increased guitar healing range from 13 blocks to 20 blocks.

- Increased Warden imprisoned player respawn time by 0.5 seconds.
- Increased Grim Reaper soul orb healing from 22 HP to 26 HP.

- Increased the price of drones from 50 Iron to 60 Iron.
- Increased the price of satellite dishes from 4 Emeralds to 6 Emeralds.
- Decreased Kaliyah's punch armor penetration from 100% to 70%.
- Aery's damage scaling now rolls off at higher stacks.
- Decreased spirit knockback by 20%.
- Increased the price of spirits from 50 Iron to 60 Iron.
- Decreased shield axolotl shield HP from 10 to 8.
- Decreased damage axolotl damage increase from 20% to 16%.
- Players can now become juggernauts after breaking a lucky block.
