Emeralds are a currency in BedWars. They can be used to buy items from the item shop.
Obtaining[]
Emerald Generators[]
Emerald Generators spawn emeralds. One emerald is generated every 70 seconds in most game modes, though in Duels, 30v30 and some other modes the spawn time is halved. Additionally, throughout the match the generator will gradually increase in speed.
Team Generators[]
When a team generator is upgraded to Level 3, an emerald will be generated every 20 seconds in most gamemodes.
Beehives[]
A beehive containing more than three bees will generate Emeralds
.
Looting[]
If a player defeats an enemy carrying emeralds in their hotbar or inventory, they will obtain the emeralds of the enemy. Additionally, if the vanquished had emerald or diamond armor, the victorious will receive an amount of emeralds based on the armor.
Harvesting[]
If a player with the Farmer Cletus kit harvests a fully grown melon, it will give the player 1 Emerald, with a 20% chance of 2.
Fishing[]
If a player with the Fisherman kit fishes using the rod, they have a chance to obtain emeralds.
Bounty Hunting[]
If a player with the Bounty Hunter kit kills their target, they will receive 1-4 Emeralds.
Mining[]
If a player with the Miner kit mines a petrified player, there is a chance to get Emeralds.
Lucky Blocks[]
2 Emeralds can be obtained as a drop from lucky blocks.
Metal Detector[]
You can obtain 1 - 6 Emeralds when finding treasure.
Plunder[]
Hitting players with the plunder enchant, If they have emeralds in inventory, has a chance to steal their Emeralds.
Piñatas[]
Breaking a piñata with more than 200 candies, it can reward emeralds.
Solar Panel[]
A Solar Panel will generate 3 Emeralds every 24 seconds while exposed to the sky.
Caitlyn[]
Getting the "Bounty" ability will reward 2 Emeralds upon killing their target.
Treasure Chest[]
Emeralds have a chance of being given when a player is in the Skull Island map and opens a Treasure Chest.
Drill[]
If the player has a Drill placed down at an emerald generator, they will double the loot (receive 2 Emeralds) every time the generator drops an emerald, 1 Emerald will go to the player and the other 1 Emerald will get stored by the drill, with a 25% chance of producing 2 Emeralds. Teammates can interact with the drill to collect stored emeralds, while enemies can destroy the drill to take the stored emeralds.
Bounties[]
Killing players with diamond armor or above will reward in a random number of Emeralds, You get emeralds if you get an assist and a teammate/enemy finishes off the enemy.
Pirate Shovel[]
Players can obtain Emeralds by mining blocks with the Pirate Shovel.
Iron Ore[]
Players can mine Iron Ore for emeralds. Emeralds dropped by iron ore scales up based on match's time.
Eggs[]
Players can sell chickens for 1-4 Emeralds.
Titan[]
Players can defeat the Titan for 3 Emeralds per player on the team who defeated the Titan.
Pickpocketing[]
Disguising as a block allows you to steal Emeralds from enemies (enemies must have more than 0 Emeralds).
