February 24, 2023, also known as the Ranked Overhaul update, is a major update in Bedwars that overhauled Ranked, re-added 5v5, added the Emerald rank, and several kit modifications and quality changes.

Modifications[]

Re-added 5v5.
Buffed and nerfed several kits and items.
- Modified the mage spellbook.
  - Decreased regular spell knockback.
  - Increased the mage spellbook attack cooldown.
  - Increased learned spell damage.
  - Changed the trajectory of the spells.
- Whim's spells are now unlocked in a certain order.
- Added the 'Focus' special ability to Caitlyn.
- Caitlyn can now discard their active contract after 1 minute.
- Increased skeleton damage percentage from 50% to 80%.
- Gravestones will now spawn randomly on map when a defeated player falls into the void.
- Decreased seahorse healing strength by 25%.
- Increased the price of golden apples from 5 Emeralds to 7 Emeralds.
- Increased the price of health apples from 30 Iron to 40 Iron.
- Increased the price of dinos from 64 Iron to 80 Iron.
- Slightly decreased the explosive radius of Dinos.
- Decreased the break damage of Yeti frozen blocks' health from 30% to 20%.
- Slightly decreased glacier roar radius from 4 blocks to 3.5 blocks.
- Teleport hat invulnerability now only applies to allies near teleport arrival and is no longer applied to Umbra.
- Decreased invulnerability duration from 3 seconds to 2 seconds.
- Swords are now disabled while teleporting with the teleport hat.
Changed the time for the diamond generator drop time from 20 seconds to 25 seconds.
The Titan now only attacks if a player is near its radius.
Increased the amount of diamonds dropped by diamond guardians from 2 Diamonds to 5 Diamonds.
Increased the amount of Emeralds dropped by the Titan from 5 Emeralds to 7 Emeralds.

Bug fixes[]

Fixed an issue where iron ores would no longer spawn on bases when their bed has been destroyed.
Fixed an issue where certain Titan effects would play outside of the map.
Fixed the punch bug with the Kaliyah kit.
Fixed bug causing Vanessa’s triple shot to sometimes fire in different directions.

Other[]

Changed health regeneration while away from base from 75% to 50%.
Caitlyn's contract now resets if the target has been eliminated without a bed.
Optimized the rendering of maps.
Improved several of Umbra's visual effects.
Match event timers now show up when opening the scoreboard.
Teleporting back to base is now cancelled on damage taken, ability use, or action performed.
Increased health regeneration gain in SkyWars.
Diamond Guardians can now be spawned in custom matches with the /spawn guardians command.
The Titan can now be spawned in custom games with the /spawn titan command.
Added the /shopitem add (item) (amount) (cost item) (cost amount) in custom matches.
Diamond Guardians and the Titan spawns can now be disabled in the host panel.
AFK players now sent back to the Lobby instantly after ending a match.
