Frosty is a kit that was added in the December 23, 2021 update. Players could unlock it by reaching level 40 in the Season 3 Free Pass. It passively generates Frosted Snowballs.

Abilities

Snowballs

Players using this kit periodically receive Frosted snowballs every 3 seconds. They can be thrown at enemies, dealing 3-5 damage and knockback. Frosted Snowballs will also temporarily slow enemies hit. Frosted Snowballs will stop generating after reaching 64.

Strategy

Frosty’s frosted snowballs are different from normal snowballs. These frosted snowballs, unlike the normal snowballs, deal much more damage than their counterpart while also applying a slow effect. Frosted snowballs also drastically slow down players temporary, making it much difficult for the players who are affected to traverse around the map. However, it should be noted that while a player is slowed down, less knockback will be dealt. This makes it easier for an enemy to combo you.

After 192 seconds (3 seconds per Frosted snowballs), Frosty will easily reach a maximum of 64 snowballs all for free. One of the best enchantments to use frosted snowballs is the fire enchant. With the fire enchant, snowballs will continue to damage other players, dealing extra damage with the help of fire enchant, at the same time also rendering balloons useless. Static also works well with frosted snowballs because if you throw frosted snowballs at a group the static enchantment will also damage nearby players. This can be abused to prevent healing of players.

Trivia

• A bug used to occur in which snowballs would randomly stop generating until death.
  • This has since been fixed.
• This kit has a different body alongside with the Void Regent, Eldertree, Gingerbread Man, Crocowolf, Xu'rot and Crypt.
• On the March 18th, 2022 update, Frosty was changed to spawn normal snowballs instead of its previous frosted snowballs.
  • This was not mentioned in the patch notes, and description still says that kit generates frosted snowballs.
• The description previously said "Passively create Frosted Snowballs for free. Frosted Snowballs are faster, larger, and applies a slow." The "applies a slow" sentence was removed due to the fact that frosted snowballs no longer slows players.
