July 19, 2021, also known as the Pirate Davey update, is a major update in BedWars that added the Pirate Davey kit, balloons, Solos, and other changes.

Additions

• Added Pirate Davey.
• Added cannons.
• Added balloons.
• Added the Solos gamemode.
• Added a leaderboard to the Lobby.
• Added 2 new maps.
  • Added Candyland (Doubles & Squads)
  • Added Construction (Squads).
• Added Match HUD.

Modifications

• Added tracking for final kills.
• Buffed TNT.
  • Decreased the cost of TNT from 45 Iron to 35 Iron.
• Buffed Blastproof Ceramic.
  • Decreased the cost of blastproof ceramic from 25 Iron to 18 Iron.
• Players can now view items and animations while in first person.

Bug fixes

• Fixed a bug that caused TNT to not break blocks.
• Fixed a bug that caused fall damage to not apply after balloons pop.
• Fixed the item shop menu not being scrollable.
• Invalid block placement in places where blocks cannot be placed will no longer consume the block.

• Nerfed Balloons.
  • Reduced balloon max lifetime from 45 seconds to 35 seconds.
  • Increased the cost of balloons from 1 Emerald to 2 Emeralds.
  • Slowed movespeed while using a balloon by 20%.
  • Balloons now pop when taking damage.
• Buffed TNT.
  • Increased explosion damage by 25%.
• Updated the lobby leaderboard model.
