July 8, 2022, also known as the Cobalt kit update, is a major update in BedWars that added the Cobalt kit, more Custom Match features, and many balance changes.

- Added "Host Only" option for bed breaking, block breaking, and PVP in Custom Matches.
- Re-added the Stopwatch.
- Buffed and nerfed multiple kits and items.
The stopwatch now regenerates 35 HP after rewinding.- Increased crit star bonus buff from 2% to 3%.
Decreased the infernal saber's spin radius from 6 blocks to 5 blocks.
Increased the light sword's upgraded wave damage from 25 to 34.- Decreased metal detector loot gain by 15%.
- Decreased melon growth time from 2 minutes to 1 minute and 45 seconds.
- Decreased spear damage from 65 to 52 HP.
- Increased damage bonus per sheep from 6.5% to 7%.
- Decreased health apple healing from 30 HP to 25 HP.
- Players can now only carry 4 health apples at a time.
- Removed the carrot cannon.
- Fixed a bug causing players to consume multiple health apples at once.
- Fixed a bug causing players to get 2 wind stacks per kill as Zephyr.
