June 28, 2024, also known as the Triton update, is an update in BedWars that added Triton, made changes to the Summer Showdown 2024 event and made other quality of life changes.

Added Triton.
Added the Siren Melody and Deep Sea Davey kit skins.
Added new maps after the Roblox BedWars map contest winners. These maps are:
- Added Enchanted Forest (Squads) by @dust4wes.
- Added Secret Gardens (Solos, Doubles) by @Helper_oy.

Modifications[]

Made changes to the Summer Showdown 2024 event.
- Doubled the amount of shells earned in-game.
- Added shells to all event missions.
- Added an extra mission for the losing team.
- Increased daily mission sand dollar reward: 1000 → 2000
- Increased weekly mission sand dollar reward: 5000 → 6000
- Added a new global milestone reward at 45,000,000 that rewards 10,000 sand dollars.
- Added new cosmetics to the Summer Showdown 2024 event shop.
Made changes to various kits and their special items.
- Decreased the price of Umbra's teleport hat from 50 Iron to 35 Iron.
- Decreased the teleport hat's charge time from 2 seconds to 1.5 seconds.
- Increased Umeko's iron, diamond, and emerald chakram ranges.
- Increased Marina's Electrify Jellyfish ability cooldown from 5 seconds to 7 seconds.
- Marina's jellyfish can no longer be placed inside map blocks and blocks cannot occupy their space.
- Decreased the uppercut ability cooldown for Sigrid's elk from 18 seconds to 10 seconds.
- The elk now instantly loses a set amount of energy when it starts charging.
- Increased energy consumption while riding the elk.
- While charging, the elk's energy consumption is greatly increased.
- Decreased the elk's maximum charge duration from 6 seconds to 5 seconds.
- Decreased the damage of Adetunde's frosty hammer at each tier from [35, 44, 60] to [32, 40, 55].
- Decreased the chance of the frosty hammer giving a frost crystal every hit from 95% to 90%.
- Slightly decreased Caitlyn's contract upgrade scaling.
- Decreased Beekeeper Beatrix's beehive emerald drop chances.
- Decreased the timer of the Fortune enchant from 75 seconds to 45 seconds.
The center of the map is no longer affected by map decay. Blocks that are far above and below the center will decay at a much faster rate.

Bug fixes[]

Fixed a bug that allowed jellyfish to be placed inside of pre existing blocks.
Fixed bundle prices being incorrectly displaced when clicking consecutive bundles
Diamond guardians no longer go through blocks.
Fixed a bug that caused Hephaestus' mechs to break any block upon activating the ability.
