Kaida is a kit added on August 16 2024. Her special ability lets her summon a portal which her void dragon's head can go through to damage enemies in its range, and her special weapons are summoner claws, which can summon the claws of her dragon to deal AOE damage instead. She can be unlocked by purchasing her directly for 10,000 BedCoins or
399 Robux (formerly
12,000 BedCoins or
479 Robux ), by opening her from a lucky crate, or by being gifted her by someone else via
Robux . She is in the
Fighter class.
Abilities[]
Summon[]
At any time, pressing R will make Kaida start growing a portal on her feet, with the progress being shown by a purple bar. While doing so, Kaida's movement speed is reduced by 30%, and she cannot jump, attack, build or break blocks for one second per stage (see below). When it is full, enemies standing on the portal are instantly dealt large AOE damage, as a void dragon's head will appear and attack the area signified by the portal.
The dragon's head can be leveled up by hitting enemies, upgrading its range by 1 stage and damage. Upon reaching level 2 or higher, the dragon's head can be summoned earlier during the growing by pressing R button again past a certain threshold, summoning the dragon instantly in exchange for a smaller portal size.
It takes 1 successful summon (in which the summon hits at least 1 enemy, with more not counting) to reach level 2, 2 to reach level 3, and 3 to reach level 4. Kaida is not able to jump multiple tiers at once by hitting multiple enemies. The ability has a cooldown of 30 seconds before it can be used again.
Summoner Claw[]
Kaida's swords are replaced with summoner claws, with the tier being shown on a level bar, and the color of the claws themselves changing depending on the tier, with the same colors as their sword counterparts. When swung, a dragon claw will appear to the left of wherever Kaida is looking, and attack. It has a lower swing rate (0.9 seconds compared to 0.3) but does a bit more damage than its same tier sword counterpart and is only upgradeable by leveling up the dragon's head. Unlike swords, the claws can deal damage to multiple enemies if they are all hit with the claw.
Strategy[]
Kaida clearly shines as a crowd control kit to damage groups of enemies, particularly in 30v30 and Ranked 5v5 modes.
Combat with the dragon claws are slightly different than using a sword, so it will take some time getting used to. If you stand too close to the enemy, then the claws might not hit, so it's a good idea to keep a 2-3 block distance while attacking. As for the dragon head attack, you will be slowed and unable to jump while summoning, but it can deal a lot of damage to enemies in a larger radius. Plus, the head attack will also upgrade your damage when you hit enemies with it, so it's recommended to use this attack as much as you can, but only when you are sure you can hit an enemy, since it has a 30 second cooldown. Also, while charging the dragon head attack, you are pretty vulnerable to hits, and enemies can avoid it by building up a few blocks. A good strategy to minimize damage taken while charging the dragon head is to build up, charge the attack, and then jump down onto your enemies right before the attack is fully charged. You will lose progress on upgrading if you die, so know when to run if you are low on health.

Trivia[]
- Kaida's mechanics are suspiciously similar to the champion "Illaoi" from League of Legends. It is possible the developers took inspiration since the kit Nazar is similar to "Lee Sin", who is also from League of Legends.
- Kaida is the 4th kit to have a dragon-themed skin, alongside Xu’rot, Infernal Shielder, and Kaliyah.
- Kaida has one of the longest attack ranges in the game, being around 7 blocks.
- When players attempt to buy the kit using bedcoins but doesn't have enough bedcoins to buy, the game will say "Purchase of Summoner failed." referring the kit as Summoner instead of Kaida.
- All melee weapons except the claws are not disabled when using the Summon ability.
