Kits are special characters in BedWars offering various perks to whoever uses them. Most kits are able to be replaced by the player's avatar while retaining their abilities, however the Crocowolf, the Eldertree, Xu'rot, and the Void Knight are unable to be replaced due to their kit skin undergoing physical changes when using their abilities. Kits can be bought for 
399 Robux or 
10,000 BedCoins, and newer kits will cost 479 Robux or 12,000 BedCoins. Other kits are unlocked from previous battle passes or bundles. Each week, three (four at player level 20) kits are free to use, which cycles randomly between every kit. Currently, there are 102 kits, (103 if you include None) .
Kits
These kits can be used for free this week regardless of which kits the player owns, these kits can still be bought gifted to any player to use after they exit the kit rotation, with the exception of occasional battle pass kits that become free.
These kits can only be used by players who have bought them for 399 Robux or 10,000 BedCoins. Newly added kits will cost 479 Robux or 12,000 BedCoins. These kits can also be unlocked if a player has gifted them a kit, or if it is currently free, bought to use after it exits the free kit rotation. Currently, there are 41 priced kits.
These kits can be obtained by reaching certain player levels. They cannot be gifted or obtained any other way.
These kits can be used by players who have unlocked them from Season 1 of the Battle Pass, these kits cannot be gifted.

Free rotations
Prior to August 16, 2021 kits rotated every Monday. It was announced on August 18, 2021, that they will now be rotated every Friday at 3pm PST, instead of Monday. The only time where there were more than 4 kits was Week 153 when all the original kits from the first season of Roblox Bedwars were added for a day for the "Roblox Classic" campaign event.

Features
Kits can be equipped in the Kit Shop menu by selecting a kit and selecting equip, some kits must first be purchased or obtained from their respective Battle Pass season.
Gifting kits
Robux kits can also be gifted to other players by selecting a kit and selecting the "Gift Kit" button. The player will then be prompted to type in a player's username, and a message for that player to get upon receiving it. The player will be charged 399 Robux to successfully gift a normal kit, 799 Robux to successfully gift a Battlepass.
Kit Skins

Players can toggle the skin of the kit to display the design or to simply opt out as their avatar. Kits like Eldertree, Crocowolf, and Xu'rot, cannot have their kit skins toggled off due to physical avatar changes with the kit that can corrupt regular avatars. Certain kit skins, like the Barbunny kit skin, change the look of an item.
Players can also obtain kit skins to unlock alternative appearances to kits and their kit-exclusive items or abilities. Kit skins can be gifted as well, with the exception of limited-time kit skins that can no longer be obtained.
Kit Contracts

When players own specified kits, they can receive rewards when reach a certain amount of kills or wins using that kit.
Armor Trims
Armor Trims are special decorations for the players armor, owning any kit and paying 1500 BedCoins will give the kit an armor trim.
Trivia
- Barbarian, Farmer Cletus, Bounty Hunter, Spirit Catcher and Zeno are the only kits to have their skin models changed.
- The kit rotation time changed 3 times: first when updates released on Friday; second was when certain updates were delayed to Saturday; third was when they change the update times to 3PM PST.
- Freiya, Baker, Terra, Hephaestus, Kaida and Death Adder are the only kits to have a kit skin obtainable in the battlepass.
- Axolotl Amy, Yuzi, Vulcan, Eldertree, Evelynn, Barbarian, Grim Reaper, Hannah, Vanessa, Lyla, Freiya, Miner, Pirate Davey, Zeno, Melody, Milo, Lassy, Wren and Kaida are the only kits to have three different skins.
- Aery, Terra and Hephaestus are the only battlepass kits currently to have a skin.
- When the Season 1 Battle Pass launched, the amount of free kits per week was changed to 3.
- When the Season 7 Battle Pass released, the amount of free kits per week for players who are level 20+ increased to 4, while all other players are unaffected.
- As of March 19,2025, Vulcan, Marina, Silas, Nazar, Death Adder, Kaida, Wren, Styx, Bekzat, Hephaestus, Grove, Uma, and Void Knight are the only obtainable kits who have not appeared in the free kit rotations.
- Before season 8's release, players couldn’t equip the “None” kit. However, they could play as their own player kit.
- Evelynn and Pirate Davey have more kit skins than any other kits (if you include the style Victorious skin). This would mean each of them has 7 kit skins.
- After leaving a game, the non-kit icon may show an image of the Crocowolf after transformed instead of the player's skin.
