Lassy can purchase a lasso from the Item Shop for 30 Iron
. The lasso can be thrown up to 23 blocks away, which will pull the first enemy hit towards her and apply the grounded effect. The lasso also renders most movement kits and abilities unable to dash or teleport for 9 seconds when the enemy is using either one. It has a 10 second cooldown before it can be used again.
Strategy[]
Lassy can be absolutely broken if you play support often, can kamikaze opponents, and have really good aim and predictions.
One potent strategy with the Lassy kit involves building a few blocks away from the opponent's island. By deftly throwing the lasso at a player and swiftly placing at least two blocks in front of you within the timeframe of the throw, you propel your opponent in front of you and guaranteeing certain death by the sword. However, they can put up a last stand by damaging you with the sword, knocking you into the void. To solve this predicament, either have a quick reaction time and clutch with blocks, pearls, or any other method, or use the cloud enchant. If the enemies themselves have the cloud enchantment and you 100% know they have it by looking at their movements, have an ADC (attack damage carry) swing a sword at the grounded enemy when you lasso them, and if you can do it right, you can do a ton of damage, either knocking them into the void or forcing them to exhaust their cloud enchant and also avoid bows, which you and the ADC can use for even more damage, taking the objective and maybe the game with it. If you do not have a teammate or your teammate(s) are not close, prepare your strongest weapons to deal as much damage.
Another strategy is to have a humongous frontline and you as a bit of a diversion. First, get 3 gloops for a flank attack while not allowing your opponents to escape. Then, use one on the ground where you will throw the lasso. Make your teammates trick the enemy into thinking they are going for one gigantic assault. Then, right when they fake it, immediately throw the lasso into the strongest opponent you can grab. By using 1 gloop, they are slowed by around 80%, rendering them unable to run. Then, command your teammates to rush in using their own pearls. Since they are grounded via the lasso and gloop, they must accept their fate. Remember that winning team fights is the ultimate goal, and with the Lassy kit, the possibilities to play support in a middle of a humongous engage can definitely turn the tides in favor of you and convert winning advantages.
