Map Mechanics are features introduced on March 4, 2022, and they are exclusive to specific maps.
Mechanics[]
Pots[]
Pots are found in the Sand Temple map and randomly generated around the map. The spawn rate scales up based on the duration of the game. Destroying them will reward the player loot such as 1-7 Emeralds and 15 - 45 Iron
. They can also drop 1-3 Skorp Stingers. Rewards also scale up the longer the game goes on.
Skull Island[]
The Skull Island map Introduces pirate-themed items that can be found in the item shop. In this map, there are gold generators that the player can use to purchase items with Gold. Items that can be purchased are Health Oranges, Gunpowder Barrels, and the Treasure Chest.
Map Voting Mechanics[]

Map voting mechanics are a feature added on April 5, 2024. At the start of a game, 4 maps are randomly selected, along with 4 mechanics that go with each map. Players can vote for a map, then one will be chosen randomly with odds influenced by player votes. Most mechanics include items and features that were removed in previous seasons.

Balloons And Snowballs[]
"Balloons and Snowballs are available in the shop. Use Balloons to float and Snowballs to knock players out of the air." -In-Game Description
Balloons and Snowballs are now available in the shop. Balloons can be purchased for 2 Emeralds, while 8 Snowballs can be purchased for 16 Iron

Forge[]
"Select a starting forge weapon at the shop." -In-Game Description
At the start of the match, players can go to the item shop. When clicking, the player can pick one of 5 Forge weapons: the Sword, Great Hammer, Dagger, Scythe, and the Gauntlets. They can level up the weapon by purchasing the tier in the shop. Certain kits do not get affected. This mechanic was taken from Season 8.

Head Start[]
"Start the game with 100 iron and your first stat point unlocked!" -In-Game Description
At the start of the match, all players are granted 100 Iron and you can immediately spend your first stat point. This is similar to the relic of the same name in Season 6.

Glitched Enchanting[]
"The Enchant Table is glitched. Enchants are significantly more powerful and have additional effects." -In-Game Description
Upon repairing the Enchant Table, it is replaced with the Glitched Enchant Table. All the enchantments are glitched and have additional unique effects. This mechanic was taken from a relic from Season 6.
This mechanic is not available in the ranked gamemode.
Enchanted[]
"All players receive a random level 1 enchantment at the start of the game." -In-Game Description
At the start of the match, all players are granted a random Tier I enchant. It is lost upon death. This was taken from a relic from Season 6.

Supercharged Generator[]
"All Team Generators start with a 20% hyperized bonus." -In-Game Description
At the start of the match, all Team Generators get a permanent 20% speed buff. This does not affect emerald, diamond and gold generators. This is taken from a relic from Season 6.
Light Step[]
"All players have negated fall damage and increased movement speed." -In-Game Description
At the start of the match, all players have faster movement speed, and falling from heights deals 0 damage, although the fall "damage" will still reset their health regeneration time. This is taken from a relic from Season 6.
Runic Divide[]
"The Enchant Table grants 2 enchantments but costs double." -In-Game Description
When using the Enchant Table, 2 enchantments will be granted simultaneously instead of 1. However, it also costs double to use. You cannot refuse to take two enchants at once, but you can get a total of three through Chaos and another enchant. This is taken from a relic from Season 6.

Potions[]
"Potions are available in shop, including speed, jump, shield and invisibility potions." -In-Game Description
In the shop, there will be 5 types of potions available, Mini Shield, Big Shield, Invisibility, Speed, and Jump potion, which give special buffs for a short time when consumed. This mechanic was taken from Season 2.

Increased Health[]
"All Players have increased max health." -In-Game Description
Increases everyone's max HP by 50% of its base amount. This mechanic was taken from Season 8. This is proven to not change Eldertree's tree orb scaling.
This mechanic is not available in the ranked gamemode.
Squad Launcher[]
"Squad Launchers are placed at each base. Hop in with your team and launch straight to battle!" -In-Game Description
A Squad Launcher spawns at each team's base (3 in 30v30), which can launch players significantly across the map.

Standard[]
"A regular game of Bedwars, no mechanic is active for this match." -In-Game Description
Nothing will be changed or added to the game. This mechanic always appears as the first option in all matches.

Monarch[]
"The Monarch will spawn in the center of the map." -In-Game Description
The Monarch will spawn in the middle of the map 2 times, when killed which will spawn the Golden Goose. The Golden Goose will give extra damage buffs over time. This mechanic was taken from Season 9.

Excalibur's Bounty[]
"At the start of the game, armor and weapons will appear at the center of the map. Prove yourself worthy and draw the diamond sword in the stone!" -In-Game Description
At the start of the game, several stone and iron swords, bows, crossbows and arrows, and leather and iron armor spawn near the center of the map to be picked up by players. Additionally, a diamond sword in a stone spawns in the middle, which can be collected by pressing and holding on it for about 5 seconds.
This mechanic is not available in the ranked gamemode.
Blood Money[]
"Earn emeralds from kills based on your kill streak!" -In-Game Description
Getting 3 kills without dying gives 1 Emeralds. Each kill after that will give 1 more emerald than the previous without dying, with elimination resetting your streak to 0.
E.g. 2 kills= 0 emerald, 3 kills=1 emerald, 4 kills=2 emeralds, 5 kills= 3 emeralds
This mechanic is not available in the ranked gamemode.
Guardian of Dream[]
"Instead of Bed Plating, the Guardian of the Dream will protect your bed. But, you cannot build around the bed!" -In-Game Description
Bed Plating does not spawn on beds and is replaced by the Guardian of the Dream, an entity that attacks nearby enemies and must be killed before the bed can be broken. Additionally, blocks cannot be placed around the bed.
Lava Rise[]
"Lava will occasionally rise above the beds and deal massive damage to those who touch it!" -In-Game Description
The void is replaced by a layer of lava that is sometimes solid that can be walked on, however deals rapid damage while touching it. Throughout the match, a warning will appear, and then layer of lava will rise above the map, right above every team's bed.
Back to School Day[]
"Backpacks are available for purchase." -In-Game Description
First Aid Kits, Turtle Shells, Rocket Belts, Spike Shells, and Portable Vending Machines can be purchased from the shop, each costing 4 Emeralds.

Diamond Generator Capture Points[]
"Diamond Generators can be captured to produce extra diamonds." -In-Game Description
Diamond generators can now be captured by different teams. This mechanic was taken from Season 9.

Grappling Hooks And Stopwatches[]
"Grappling Hooks and Stopwatches are available in the shop. Use Grappling Hooks for swift movement and Stopwatches for quick returns." -In-Game Description
Stopwatches and Grapple Hooks are available in the shop. The Stopwatch costs 2 Emeralds, while the Grapple hook costs 7 Emeralds

Void Portals[]
"Portals are purchasable from the shop. Jumping into a portal will teleport you to another random portal."-In-Game Description
Portals are purchasable from the Item Shop for 45 Iron. You can place 2 down and when you use it, the player will be teleported to another random portal, similar how Styx and her Confluence Portal work.
Aerial Warfare[]
"Minicopters and Hot Air Balloons are available in the shop! Start a dogfight in the sky or drop in on an enemy base." -In-Game Description
Minicopters can be purchased in the shop for 6 Emeralds each and Hot Air Balloons can be purchased with 10 Emeralds
each.

Dragon Egg[]
"A Dragon Egg appears. The team that deposits the most resources will receive a dragon to help them in combat" -In-Game Description
At the start of the match, a Dragon egg spawns in the middle of the map at the 1 minute, and teams can place resources into the egg. At the 15-minute mark, the Dragon egg will hatch and will attack the teams other than the team that put in the most resources. This mechanic is similar to the relic from Season 6.
Simplified[]
"Simplify the game. Removes the Diamond Guardians, Titan, Bed Plating, Enchant Table, and Altar." -In-Game Description
The game is simplified, removing the Diamond Guardians, Titan, Bed Plating, Enchant Table and Blessing Altar.

Delicious Diamonds[]
"Diamonds can be consumed for shields!" -In-Game Description
Diamonds grant +30 shield when consumed, up to a maximum of 60.

Knight's Code[]
"All players deal more damage, but cannot use the Enchant Table or Altar." -In-Game Description
At the start of the match, all players deal more damage than normal, however, the Enchant Table and Altar are disabled. This is taken from the relic from Season 6.
Swift Finale[]
"All beds break in 12 minutes and Block Decay starts at 13 minutes."-In-Game Description
The BedWars match now is quicker for all beds to break, therefore playing a way faster game.
Lightning Storm[]
"When it gets stormy the global generators are faster... but take cover to avoid being struck by lightning!" -In-Game Description
Randomly throughout the match, a lightning storm can happen. The storm will boost Diamond and Emerald Generator speeds considerably, however, lightning bolts will strike down on open areas, dealing damage to players.

Vending Machine[]
"The Vending Machine will drop in the center as a mid match event." -In-Game Description
The Vending Machine will drop at the late 9-minute mark. Using 6 Emeralds on the Vending Machine will give a random item, such as Speed Boots, Bear Claws, Jump Boots, Carrot Cannon with 8 Carrot Rockets, Paint Blaster, Twirlblade and Boba Blaster with 20 Boba Pearls. This mechanic was from taken from Season 4.
Traveling Merchant[]
"The Traveling Merchant will set up shop in the center of the map, offering a variety of items." -In-Game Description
The Traveling Merchant will spawn in the center of the map at the 9 minute mark. He will take 30 seconds to set up shop, then offers 3 items or team upgrades to sell. After all the items or team upgrades are bought, the Traveling Merchant leaves. This mechanic was taken from Season 7.
Sprites[]
Sprites are found in the Blossom map and can be chosen from your base. After choosing them, 500 points must be gained, either from damaging players or collecting resources. Sprites can give special buffs such as increased damage. This mechanic is removed.
Ziplines[]
In one of the old, removed variations of the Treehouse map, ziplines would be around bases that players could use to traverse around the map, due to an abundance of ziplines, the map was designed to be extremely large. This mechanic is removed.
Wind Tunnels[]
Wind Tunnels are found in the Blossom map and are located usually in the corner parts of the map. They are a shortcut that transports players middle faster, though they only go in one direction.
Void[]
The Void Lands map introduces a new shop category with void items, such as the Void Sword, Void Armor, Void Turret, and Void Rock, this map also replaces the Titan and the Guardians with Void Crabs and the Void Crate. Like the Diamond Guardians, Void Crabs also spawn on the diamond generators and attack the player. Upon death, they award 1-3 Void Crystals to the player. The Void Crate spawns in the center every 5 minutes, and gives loot to any player that damages it.
Block Decay[]
Block Decay was added in the January 19, 2024 update. This map mechanic is in every Classic queue, including Ranked. A warning will appear 30 seconds prior to the decay, and then the map will decay and will destroy every block gradually going from the farthest ends of the map to the middle, starting the process 1 minute after all beds break (21 minutes into the game) and ending from 24 minutes to 26 minutes. The bigger the map the longer the decay will take. Block decay is disabled in 30v30 & Lucky Block, even when the "Swift Finale" mechanic is enabled.
