March 31, 2023, also known as the April Fool's update, is a major update in Bedwars that added the Drill kit, added new lucky crate rewards, renamed BedWars to BaconWars, and other modifications.

Modifications[]

Lucky crates now grant cosmetics.
Kit specific class rentals no longer work with Battle Pass kits.
Increased tesla coil trap range from 4.5 blocks to 6.6 blocks.
Increased lifesteal enchant max overheal from 10 to 12.
Decreased Fire I enchant burn damage from 4 to 3.
Buffed and nerfed kits and items alike.
- Zephyr can now jump thrice instead of twice in a quick succession after reaching five stacks of wind.
- Increased satellite dish base disruption percentage from 20% to 25%.
- Increased satellite dish base disruption percentage from 10% to 12% in 30v30.
- Decreased Warden shield HP per imprisoned soul from 15 to 8.
- Increased the price of shield axolotls from 20 Ironto 30 Iron.
- Increased the price of damage axolotls price from 50 Iron to 60 Iron.

Added an 'Evenly Split Teams' button in custom matches.
Changed Bedwars to BaconWars.

Players are no longer forced to wear the Pal Hair inside of Bedwars.
