May 2, 2025, also known as the Draft Mode & Berseker update, is a major update in BedWars that added the Ranked Season 13, added a free kit, announced Ranked Season 12 rewards, buffed and nerfed some kits and items, and more.

Additions[]

Added the Ragnar kit.
Added new cosmetics for the Season 13 Battle Pass.
- Added the “Walk like a Hieroglyph” animated emote.
- Added the Genie Lamp final kill effect.

Modifications[]

Ranked[]

Adde a draft phase during the beginning of Ranked.
- During this time, both teams may select any kit to ban. The more people vote on a kit, the higher chance it has to be banned. Once a kit is selected and banned, neither teams will be able to use that kit for the match.
- Each team can ban 2 kits allowing a total of 4 kits to be banned per game.

Balance Changes[]

Increased the siphon ratio for the warlock staff from 25% to 37.5%.
Increased the ally HP tick for the warlock staff from 2 HP to 3 HP.
Decreased the amount of hits required to reach max armor penetration for Nyx from 5 hits to 4 hits.
Increased Nyx’s minimum armor penetration from 15% to 20%.
Ares now gains a spear every minute.
Decreased the tick rate of the healing axolotl from 0.6 seconds to 0.55 seconds
Increased the duration of the healing axolotl from 4 seconds to 5 seconds.
Improved the resource reward chances for the Miner.
The chances of obtaining Frost Crystals for the frosty hammer now scales with how much damage you deal instead of having a 90% chance of getting one.
Removed the frost crystal cooldown on a player that recently died.
Shield HP is now only gained when the frosty hammer is 90% charged.
Increased the amount of shield gained per level on the frosty hammer from [2,3,4] to [2,4,6] respectively.
Decreased the damage of each summoner claw from [31, 37, 50, 62] to [26, 31, 42, 53]
Decreased the heal ability heal amount for the spirit owl from 20 HP to 16 HP.
Decreased the heal ability cooldown for the spirit owl from 8 seconds to 7 seconds.
Increased the consumption time of health apples from 0.8 seconds to 1 second.
Decreased the max amount of health apples and golden apples to be held from 4 to 3.

Updated BedWars creative scripts to able to set keybinds on custom made buttons.
Concluded the Easter Egg Hunt 2025.
Improved UI and visual clarity for kit bans and kit selection.
Armor trim XP earned in match now shows in post-match UI.

Fixed canceling kit rental ui from enabling controller mode.
Fixed leaderboard rank in player profiles.
Fixed the flying carpet hotbar icon.
Fixed post-match winstreak UI not displaying.
event missions being displayed as daily missions.
Fixed locker items disappearing when clicking the same tab twice rapidly.
Fixed locker search bar auto completing items not in the current tab.
Fixed first person mobile sword reach.
Fixed picture mode breaking kit ban UI.
Fixed projectile lobby gadgets not working in the Lobby.

Hotfix[]

4 days later, a hotfix was sent out.

Fixed the “Failed to load session profile” error causing players to be kicked. (This issue still happens as its a Roblox issue)
Fixed an oversight where players were unable to gift Ramil, Nahla, and Martin to other players.
Enabling picture mode no longer exits out the drafting phase screen
Opening inventory during drafting phase no longer closes UI
Fixed a glitch during the drafting phase where you could play as a banned kit.
Fixed an issue where you could play modes with kits off (i.e. SkyWars)
Fixed Marina’s jellyfish timer UI showing the script for the richtext.
Fixed the Wizard staffs abilities going on cooldown despite not having enough energy.
Fixed the golden apple randomly stopping the HP ticking.
Fixed certain descriptions for enchants
Adjusted the Miner’s resource scaling.
Removed the ‘Spawn Void Monsters’ option in the custom match host panel.
