October 13, 2023, also known as the Halloween Event 2023 week 1 update, is a major update in BedWars that added the Halloween Event 2023, spider traps, multiple new cosmetics, and more.

Decreased the price of vacuums from 60 Iron
to 50 Iron
.- Decreased Freiya's frost stack cooldown from 2.5 seconds to 2 seconds.
- Increased Freiya's ice stack duration from 10 seconds to 15 seconds.
- Increased guitar self healing from 20% to 50%.
- Increased Crocowolf beast form's extra damage buff from 5% to 15%.
- Decreased Crocowolf's beast form duration from 10 minutes to 7 minutes.
- Increased gumdrop bounce pad shield HP gain from 15 HP to 30 HP.
- Gumdrop bounce pad shield HP now expires after 5 seconds.
- Increased Milo's shield gain from 20 HP to 25 HP.
- Milo's shield HP now expires after 5 seconds.
- Decreased the dagger's damage multiplier from 50% to 40%.
- Decreased Forest enchant seedling cooldown from 60 seconds to 45 seconds.

- Fixed certain items activating while swapping to another item.
- Fixed a bug that allowed certain kits to move while upgrading in the forge.

- Shrunk the vertical no-build region on team generators from 6/12 blocks to 4 blocks.
