A petrified player is an entity that was added in the February 25, 2022 update.
Obtaining[]
Kills[]
Defeating an enemy while using the Miner kit will turn them into a petrified player. They will petrify and turn gray, red or cyan depending on the skin being used.

Mining[]
When using the Miner kit, breaking a petrified player can reward Iron
, Emeralds
or Diamonds
. The amount of resources given is increased based on the price of the defeated player's armor and sword.

Trivia[]
- At the kit's release, players could get Embers from the petrified players, however they served no purpose. This glitch was quickly patched.
- Petrified players are similar to the Statue final kill effect, except that it is exclusive to the Miner kit.
- On a similar note, if the player defeats a player without a bed while using Miner, the player's final kill effect will not activate.
- Players using the Hannah kit may see the "Blood for Blood" prompt on a petrified player. However, activating the prompt does nothing.
