Pickaxes are tools in BedWars, they can be used to break blocks placed by players. If a player dies with a pickaxe they will not lose it.

Upon joining a match of any gamemode each player is given a wooden pickaxe, in their second hotbar slot.

The other three pickaxes can be bought from the Item Shop for various prices.

Usage[]
Breaking blocks[]
Pickaxes can break any block placed by players, the list below shows the pickaxes from least powerful to most. The "Destruction" team upgrade also makes them more powerful, which can be purchased from the Team Upgrades NPC. However, there's a limit to how many hits a pickaxe must do before breaking a block. For example, the diamond pickaxe has to deal 4 hits on a block of wool before breaking it and a wooden pickaxe also has to deal 4 hits on a block of wool before breaking it. However, the diamond pickaxe can break a block of stone brick faster than the wooden pickaxe.

A pickaxe is best for breaking stone and obsidian, and as the pickaxe is upgraded, they will take fewer hits to break. However, any pickaxe will take the same number of hits for wool and oak. See Wool, Oak Wood Plank, Stone Brick, and Obsidian for more information.

Trivia[]
- The diamond pickaxe uses a unique model compared to the other three pickaxes.
- All of the pickaxe models are used from Easy.gg's other game, Islands.
- In order to fully upgrade a pickaxe, the player would need 100 Iron to reach diamond.
- Despite iron axes costing 30 Iron, the iron pickaxe only costs 20 Iron.
- The Laser Pickaxe, Pirate Shovel, and Handheld Drill do the same amount of damage to a block as the Diamond Pickaxe, the Miner Pickaxe, however, does more. (Tested against Iron Ore, the Miner Pickaxe required 4 hits, everything else, 5 hits.)
