Pirate Davey — The Pirate Event 2022 NPC.

The Pirate Event 2022 was the only pirate event held in BedWars that started on August 27, 2022 and ended on September 16, 2022, which hosted pirate-themed content.

Synopsis[]

A few minutes before the event started, every single NPC was replaced with a skull symbol and attempting to join a match would give a notification saying "Disabled due to incoming storm". A minute before the event started, a notification saying "Live event in 1 minute! Join lobby & turn graphics to max!" was sent out to every single server in BedWars. After the timer in the lobby hit 00:00:00:00, a pirate ship with a health bar flew on top of the lobby island and every player was give a blunderbuss to shoot the pirate ship down. The pirate ship would begin emitting smoke and start burning once its health got low. Once the ship's health got to 0, the ship would swerve left, destroying a decor house behind the kit display section, and crashing to the ground. After that, a cannonball was shot making the whole map dark. Then, a cutscene with Hannah, Pirate Davey and Smoke jumping out of the ship was shown and the background blurred with the screen displaying the text, "PIRATE EVENT", which awarded players in public servers with the "Pirate Live Event" badge. At the bottom it said "joining new lobby..." which sent the player to a new lobby.

This event hosted the first live event.
If nobody shot down the pirate ship, cannons around the map would shoot the ship instead.
The "Earn 21,600 points from time spent playing games" mission used to give 10,000 doubloons.
- Also, the "points" mean .
The "Smoke Dude..." and "Hannah Fired Up" emote used to cost 2,000 doubloons before September 2, 2022, where their prices were increased by 2,000 doubloons.
- On the same update, the "Zephyr Begone" emote's icon was accidentally replaced with the "Ghost Moment" emote.
