SkyWars is a gamemode that was added in the December 3, 2021 update, before being removed in the December 17, 2021 update, and eventually being added back permanently. It consists of 24 players split into twelve teams: Red, Blue, Yellow, Orange, Purple, Pink, Brown, Black, Grey, Green, Cyan and Lime. All kits are disabled and there is no Item Shop or Team Upgrades NPCs, upon death players are eliminated and the items in their inventory will drop. Chests can be found around this gamemode's maps which contain various blocks, weapons and armor.

The queue for SkyWars (Doubles) can be joined by interacting with the SkyWars NPC. The max party size for this gamemode is two. There are 12 teams in this gamemode.

SkyWars (Squads)

Overview

The goal of SkyWars is to be the last team with at least one member on it. This is accomplished by looting chests and eliminating all the other teams.

• This is the second gamemode to not have beds, the first being the Infected gamemode and the third being Gun Game.
• There was a bug where some kit abilities were not disabled, them being Grim Reaper, Trinity, Barbarian, Bounty Hunter, Infernal Shielder, Beekeeper Beatrix, Archer and Vanessa.
  • This glitch has been patched.
• Players in the Gray team will be put into the Spectator team. This is because there is no Gray team in SkyWars.
  • However, players in the Gray team still can play the match.
  • Back then, you can get Balloon, Guided Missile, Tesla Coil Trap, Rageblade, Health Apple, TNT and Jump Potion.
• For only 2 days, you could obtain Grass, this has been replaced with green wool.
• Similar to Lucky Block, this gamemode was originally added as a limited-time mode.
• Breaking Green Wool will change into the player's team color.
• Iron, Diamonds, and Emeralds can be obtained sometimes by completing bounties with the Bounty Hunter Kit. The glitched has been patched.
  • But it won't come with any use, due to SkyWars having no Item Shops.
• Every 30 seconds, you will auto-generate 8 Wool.
• There are rumours that the game was brought back the game permanently because of a game SkyWars being added to Roblox, and due to its popularity it was able to climb over BedWars for once.
• For a while, there was the possibility of obtaining the rageblade in a loot chest.
  • This has since been removed.
